Mediations can be held at any place that the parties agree upon if the location has two suitable rooms -- one large enough to hold all the parties to the mediation and a smaller room for private, breakout sessions.
The rooms must be out of earshot of one another to allow the parties to discuss the issues openly and confidentially with the mediator. (See “The Mediation Procedure”)
If the parties cannot agree upon a suitable location, mediations can be held at one of two mediation centers.
